Sara Huneycutt

A little about Sara: I am originally form North Carolina and just recently moved to Texas. I am new to CYT but am so excited to be a part of this team and mission. I graduated from Liberty University with my Bachelor’s in Theatre Performance and a Minor in Music Vocal Performance. While at Liberty I had the privilege of performing in both academic as well as professional shows and was a participant in several theatrical competitions including NATS & KCACTF. Because I am a follower of Christ and an actress I felt God’s calling on my life to redeem the arts for His glory. I believe that we are created to be creative and that God has given each of us unique gifts and talents to reflect Him. I believe that when theatre is done with excellence and the actor’s focus is on Christ rather than self, that’s when God is most glorified in our creativity. I believe that teaching children and showing them at an early age how to use their gifts for God’s glory is vital in this craft.
