Do you hear the people sing? Well, in this showstopping class, you are the people! We'll be singing it out to the phenomenal tunes of the Broadway musical Les Miserables. Students will work on reading music in a solo setting and a group setting.

Larry Miller

Larry B. Miller – Larry has worked on numerous projects over the past 45 years and most recently served as Music Director for the CYT production of Tuck Everlasting. In recent years, he was involved with Dallas Summer Musicals – High School Musical Theatre Awards and Casa Manana Studio Classes. Memorable career moments include playing keyboard for WHITE CHRISTMAS at Dallas Summer Musicals, Music Director- Joseph…..Dreamcoat starring Bryan Lane Green of Broadway fame, presented at the Royal George Theater in Chicago. Music Director for GREASE, Associate Music Director for PARADE and CAMELOT for Casa Manana as well as playing in the orchestra for MISS SAIGON and 42nd STREET. Pianist for Forbidden Broadway in Kansas City, produced by Mark Edelman. Other great moments while serving as Associate Musical Director at Dallas Summer Musicals include Brigadoon, starring Sherry Mathis, The Ann-Margaret Show starring Ann-Margaret, Hello Dolly starring Carol Channing; Pal Joey starring Joel Grey; High Button Shoes starring Gavin McLeod; Unsinkable Molly Brown with Karen Morrow, original 2nd National Touring Company of Evita with John Leslie Wolf and Florence Lacy in Dallas, 3rd National Tour of Annie in Dallas. He also enjoyed coaching the children for The King and I starring Yul Bryner. He has served as Music Director for numerous years for Garland Summer Musicals. Larry is currently a full time realtor with Ebby Halliday Realtors with 17 years experience under his belt. He’s also a part-time substitute teacher in the Birdville ISD due to the Covid pandemic virtually eliminating the need for his work as a professional pianist, voice & piano teacher and music director/pianist for local DFW performing arts groups and schools. SIX FLAGS, INC. Most recently, Larry directed a light and cheerful Christmas show for Six Flags Over Texas’ “Holiday In The Park” season. Larry was Associate Music Director for several SFOT Saloon Shows as well as the Astroworld shows at 2 theatres. He accompanied the saloon casts as they were flown out to LA to perform for corporate as well as Pittsburgh to perform for parent company boards. Pianist at Six Flags Over Texas “Crazy Horse Saloon” 1976-1978 and the Southern Palace shows 1975 & 1979. He was busy in the off season and spring traveling the country as “audition pianist” on the audition tours, scouting performers for the spring and summer shows. He was instrumental in conducting countless hours of professional studio vocalists, producing show tracks for Astroworld, SF Great Adventure in New Jersey, and SFOG. Larry graduated from the University of North Texas, Bachelor Degree in Music Education. He encourages everyone to follow your dreams!
