Join us at CYT Camp!

CYT has camp offerings throughout the year for students ages 3-18. Camps are designed to be a fun and energetic immersion into the world of musical theater. Camps are jam-packed with games, activities, and interactive workshops that build performance skills, self-confidence, and teamwork. Typical camps include team competitions; rotations through drama, dance, music, and behind the scenes workshops; and a concluding showcase for family and friends.

Spring Break Camp | March 10-14 | Ages 3-13

Calling Wicked fans, Musical Theatre lovers, Ozians and Munchkins, one and all! Come spend a gravity defying week at CYT Camp! Join us as we journey through the music and history of the popular Broadway hit “Wicked”. Enjoy a taste of performing in a musical while rotating through stations such as music, movement, crafts, snack and games. Enhance your skills in acting, singing, and dancing as we travel down the yellow brick road like we have never seen it before!

Ultimate Summer Vacation Camp | June 9-13 | Age 3-13

5…4…3…2…1, Summer has finally begun! Celebrate with your friends at CYT Camp, acting, singing, and dancing your way from the schoolhouse to the pool house! Campers will spend the week doing crafts, playing games, and rehearsing scenes and songs as they join the story of a group of students celebrating their last day of school. Everyone is joyfully sharing their unique summer vacation plans, until one classmate’s unexpected answer stops everyone in their tracks. Find out how the students come together in this heartwarming musical story of friendship, imagination, and the magic of summertime.

Broadway Bound Camp | June 16-20 | Age 8-13

Ready to make your Broadway debut? Broadway Bound Camp is calling all performers to join CYT for a week of showtime fun! Campers will sing and dance to unforgettable songs from hit Broadway shows like Shrek, Mary Poppins, Aladdin, and more! Each day is packed with music, choreography, crafts, and games that help young performers bring the magic of Broadway to life. So grab your friends and hit the stage for a week filled with excitement, creativity, and a little bit of Broadway sparkle!

Teen Retreat | June 23-27 | High Schoolers

Refresh, recharge and retreat this summer at the biggest teen overnight event of the CYT year! Highlights include campfire s'mores, swimming, worship music, bible study, devotionals, team games and more. Teens will travel to a local campground and unplug from their daily lives, distractions, and technology to spend time connecting in community. Take your love of theater to the next level as we learn to grow as individuals, and help change our world one stage at a time!

One Act Camp | July 7-11 | Age 12-18

Ready for the ultimate theatrical challenge? At One Act in a Week Camp, campers ages 12-18 will come together to create a fully staged one-act play in just five days. From memorizing lines to crafting props, designing costumes, and adding lights and sound, the actors will be involved in every step of the production process to bring the story from page to stage. This immersive camp emphasizes acting, character development, and storytelling through a variety of techniques and styles, with a focus on teamwork and creativity. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping on stage for the first time, this exciting and comprehensive experience will take your theatrical skills to the next level.

Get ready to press play on an epic musical adventure at Disney Jamz Camp! CYT invites young performers to dive into a high-energy week of games, themed crafts, friendship, and rehearsal as they prepare for a showcase filled with Disney magic. Campers will act, sing, and dance in an exciting story where a group of friends are watching Disney+ and suddenly get sucked into the TV! The only way out? Scrolling through each section of Disney+, from Recently Watched to Animated Adventures, Star Wars, and Holiday Classics, to finally “logout” and finally make their way back to their living room. Join us for a thrilling week where Disney favorites come to life onstage!

Bluey & Bingo's Adventure Camp | July 21-25 | Age 3-8

G’day, Bluey fans! Get ready for an adventure like no other at Bluey & Bingo’s Adventure Camp! Join the whole Heeler family for a week filled with singing, dancing, playing, and pretending. Perfect for ages 3-8, campers will spend their half-day building confidence and performance skills through fun themed activities, exciting group games, and rehearsals for a paw-some final showcase. From imaginative play to big stage moments, this one-of-a-kind adventure camp is sure to be a tail-wagging good time!

The Greatest Show Camp | July 28 - Aug 1 | Age 8-13

Step right up and join the musical adventure of CYT’s The Greatest Show Camp! Inspired by the hit movie The Greatest Showman, this week of camp combines the magic of theater with the thrill of the circus. Campers will dive into the world of musical theater with a circus twist, learning acting, singing and dancing, and rehearsing a spectacular showcase along the way. From dazzling performances to creative games and crafts, every day is a new adventure under the Big Top. Camp Showcase

Friday night after day camp, students perform in a showcase they have rehearsed during their fun-filled time at camp. Parents get to come watch their kids perform the material they have learned in just one short week. Showcase is a celebration of the week’s work and gives kids a glimpse into the energy and excitement of being part of a full CYT production.

Camp Counselors

CYT Dallas is seeking highly skilled and motivated Summer Camp counselors to lead students in week-long camps! Camp Counselors lead children through a variety of activities including acting, singing, dancing, improv, music, crafts, and more. Camp counselors embody the heart and spirit of the CYT Brand!

Intern Applications

This is a unique opportunity for 15-18 year olds to serve as junior counselors at CYT camp. Interns will help lead campers through rotations, assist in a variety of camp activities, and get hands-on experience with educational theatre.

Inquiring About Financial Assistance?

CYT is pleased to offer financial assistance via payment plans to families who would otherwise not be able to participate in our summer programs. Email camps@cytdallas.org to inquire. 

Camp Policies

Refund Policy
We are unable to provide refunds for camp registrations. If a conflict arises with your previously made camp registration, email camps@cytdallas.org about the possibility of a CYT credit.

After Care 
We offer aftercare until 5:30pm for parents who cannot pick up until after work. Sign up for after care in your confirmation email after camp registration. For those not registered for aftercare, there is a $50 late fee for campers picked up past 3:15 pm. 

Age Policy
Campers must turn the eligibility age by the Monday of the camp they wish to attend. For example, a camper must be at least five years old by the Monday of camp in order to attend camp.

Potty Trained
All campers must be potty trained to attend camp.

Allergy Alerts
CYT is a nut free zone. Please do not pack foods containing nuts for your camper. If there is an additional food allergy at camp, all families will be alerted and asked not to bring in that allergen. Please email camps@cytdallas.org to let us know.

Diverse Abilities, Special or Specific Needs
CYT openly welcomes all children. If your child can function in a group/class setting but needs extra help or attention, our counselors will work alongside them to ensure they have a phenomenal camp experience. After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with a form asking for more info about how to serve your child best. Please fill that out and email camp@cytdallas.org to explain any special or specific needs your child has - the more info we have, the better! That information is shared only with your child’s counselors so they can help your child have a fun and successful week of camp. If your child requires one-on-one attention and assistance, we require a family member to stay at camp. CYT is unable to provide personal aides for campers.

Christian Youth Theater develops Christ-like character and creativity in kids through quality theater arts training that brings families and communities together while reflecting Jesus. We welcome all kids of varying faiths, backgrounds, and beliefs.
