Ahoy, ocean explorers! Get ready to dive into a week of musical magic at Oceans of Fun: Mini Musical Theatre Camp! Perfect for ages 3–8, this half-day adventure camp is packed with singing, dancing, playing, and pretending—under the sea style! Campers will swim through imaginative games, ocean-themed activities, and rehearsals that help build confidence, teamwork, and performance skills. From dancing with dolphins to rocking out with sea turtles, this camp is a wave of fun, laughter, and creativity that will leave every little performer feeling like a true sea superstar!

Camp Highlights:
🌊 Explore the Ocean World: Sing, dance, and pretend alongside a cast of fin-tastic sea creatures in a week full of under-the-sea adventures!
🎭 Confidence Through Creativity: Campers will enjoy themed activities, group games, and imaginative play while learning performance skills that shine on stage.
🎉 A Splash-tacular Showcase: Celebrate the week with a final performance that brings the oceans to life and creates unforgettable memories for all!

End of Camp Performance:
Friends and family are invited to watch the young ocean stars show off their hard work and big-stage moments!

Taina Koga

Taina is a freshman at Dallas Baptist University, studying elementary education. She’s been part of CYT since 2019, performing in 15 shows and interning at several summer camps. She absolutely loves theater and is passionate about using her gifts to glorify God while inspiring others. Working with kids and investing in the next generation is something close to her heart, and she can’t wait for this year’s summer camp! It's going to be an amazing time full of fun, growth, and unforgettable memories!

Je'Lisa Brown

Je'Lisa Brown grew up in the DFW area. She graduated from Texas Woman's University with a bachelor's degree in Family Studies. Je'Lisa has a passion for the non-profit industry, dedicating several years serving children and families in a variety of settings. Je'Lisa is excited to serve CYT families by providing a safe place for children to explore the arts while glorifying Jesus!

Faith Tate

Faith has been part of the CYT Dallas family from the very beginning. She has performed in 20 CYT productions, participated in countless CYT classes, and served as a director for CYT summer camps. She is passionate about helping students grow in confidence, creativity, and their love for musical theater while sharing the knowledge and experience she has gained throughout the years. Faith is a graduate of Valley Creek Leadership Academy and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology with the goal of working with children in counseling settings. She has over 10 years of childcare experience and loves teaching, encouraging, and supporting students of all ages. She is so grateful to be part of the CYT Dallas teaching team!
