Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping on stage for the first time, this exciting and comprehensive experience will take your theatrical skills to the next level.

Script Selections:
Whistle Stop by Tracy Wells
The regulars at the Whistle Stop diner know there’s nothing in life that can’t be fixed by a hot cup of coffee and a warm slice of apple pie, even if presidential candidates prefer to stop at the nearby Gold Star Cafe while on their campaign tour. So, when a cold front freezes the pipes at the Gold Star, the diners at the Whistle Stop scramble to prepare for an unexpected visit from the latest presidential hopeful. But as pressures mount and the stakes are raised, tension and misunderstanding threaten to divide this small town, putting the candidate’s visit, and the community as a whole, in jeopardy. Whistle Stop is a story about people, not politics, that uses humor and heart to gently examine societal friction through the lens of a small town while ultimately reminding us that, at the end of the day, it’s not what divides us, but what brings us together that makes us a nation.

Fast Food by Tracy Wells
When you’re hungry for hilarity but short on time and tight on budget, where do you turn? Why, the one-act play Fast Food, of course! From crazy customers to screwy staff, this vignette-style collection of scenes will satisfy your craving for fast food fun while offering a simple set and an entirely flexible and expandable cast. A farcical, uproarious play certain to deliver food for thought.

Molly McKinley

Costume Design is so much more to me than putting clothes on bodies; it is my art of storytelling. Through it I consider character and movement, mood and setting to bring concept to life, convey resonating truths, and create understanding. We can often forget about the beauty of this life - costumes remind us. We get so busy we forget to laugh - costumes stimulate us. We all want to feel alive - costumes pull at our heartstrings. There is joy to be possessed, laughter to be had, empathy to be embraced. My goal in life is to tell a meaningful story filled with Truth, time and time again. Paint and fabrics are my words. A love of humanity is my storyline. Costuming with a Purpose is my title.
