Half Day Camp: 3-5 year olds
Prepare for the best Spring Break Ever at CYT Camp! Explore the world inside your mind at Outside In: The Swap! CYT invites performers ages 3–13 to dive into a high-energy week filled with games, themed crafts, friendship-building activities, daily devotionals, and rehearsal as they prepare for a heartwarming final showcase performance. Campers will act, sing, and dance through an imaginative story set inside the mind of Sarah—discovering teamwork, empathy, and the importance of every emotion along the way.Throughout the week, campers will enjoy rotations through acting, dance, and music, plus creative challenges and games inspired by the emotions in our story. Each morning begins with a short, uplifting devotional designed to encourage character, confidence, and kindness. With a balance of creativity, fun, and skill-building, this camp promises an engaging and meaningful experience for every age group.

Skill Building Through Performance:
Act, sing, and dance through a story that blends humor, heart, and discovery. Campers of all ages will develop confidence and performance skills while preparing for the final showcase.

Final Showcase Performance:
On the last day of camp, friends and family are invited to cheer on the young stars as they present their final showcase performance! Friday March 20th 6:00 PM
Cassie Chisum holds a BA in Theatre from Harding University, where she directed, stage managed, and acted in a variety of productions. She is now the Education Director at CYT Dallas. She served as the Education and Outreach Director at Theatre Arlington in 2023 and 2024, where she oversaw classes, camps, a traveling children’s theatre troupe, and many other grant-funded programs in partnership with AISD. She also served as the camp director for CYT Dallas’ summer camps in 2022 and 2023, and directed shows like School of Rock, Finding Nemo Jr., and Big Bad The Musical around DFW. Cassie loves building character and confidence in youth through theatre, and in her time off she enjoys hanging out with her husband Jayce and dogs Baylor and Auggie over a good cup of coffee.

Faith Tate
Faith has been part of the CYT Dallas family from the very beginning. She has performed in 20 CYT shows, participated in countless CYT classes, been a CYT camp intern for many summer camps, and Craft Director for the CYT summer camp. She is so excited to share her love for musical theater and the knowledge she has learned throughout the years. Faith is a graduate from Valley Creek Leadership Academy. She has over 10 years of childcare experience and absolutely loves working, teaching, and playing with all age groups. She is so excited to be a CYT teacher!

Michael Moore
Michael is a high-energy dance instructor, specializing in Tap and Hip Hop. He is an accomplished performer with over 21 years of experience. As a people-person, he is successful at developing young talent. He loves teaching dance and movement to ages ranging from 1st grade through high school.

Brittney Axton
Brittney Axton is a graduate of Baylor University where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Church Music. From the age of 10, Brittney could be found singing in her church choir and playing in her church Handbell Choir. While in college, she continued to play handbells as a part of Baylor Bronze, had the chance to attend College Ring-in, oversaw three 12 bell ensembles at First Methodist Waco’s South Campus during COVID, and assisted the full bell choir at First Methodist Waco’s South Campus.
Since 2023, Brittney has been the Director of Music at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Bedford. She currently rings with Concert Bells of Fort Worth, leads a 3 octave handbell group at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, subs with various choirs around the Fort Worth area, and serves as the North Texas Representative for the Area 9 Chapter of Handbell Musicians of America.
Brittney also teaches elementary music in Keller ISD. Before starting at Bluebonnet Elementary in 2024, Brittney served as a long term substitute teacher at various campuses and in various capacities.
On top of her love of handbells and music, Brittney coaches gymnastics in Keller in her spare time.

Rebekah Williford
Rebekah is a Dallas, Texas, native whose love for the stage brought her to the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in New York City where she graduated as the valedictorian with a degree in Film & Television Performance. Rebekah currently works as the Education Coordinator at CYT Dallas, also teaching classes and working on artistic teams. She has directed several productions with CYT Dallas including Frozen Jr, Anastasia, Still Life with Iris, and Aladdin Jr as well as coached the 2023 & 2026 APEX Improv teams. Outside of CYT, Rebekah loves a slow morning with her husband, son, & puppy, while enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book.
