Laugh Out Loud - A CYT Dallas Comedy Fundraiser

The CYT Dallas Board welcomes you for an evening of laughter, connection, and impact at our Comedy Fundraiser on June 20, 2026 in Lewisville, Texas at the Character Factory. 

Featuring a family-friendly performance by Tim Ketchersid, this event brings together families, friends, and community members for a fun and meaningful night out. Whether you are part of the CYT community or discovering us for the first time, this evening is designed to welcome you in and share the heart of what we do.

Christian Youth Theater (CYT) Dallas is committed to developing character in children and young adults through the performing arts. Through classes, productions, and leadership opportunities, CYT provides a space where students grow in confidence, creativity, and purpose.

This comedy night is more than just entertainment. It is an opportunity to support local youth, connect with others in the community, and experience the impact of CYT Dallas firsthand.

Tim Ketchersid has been delighting audiences with smart, clean stand-up comedy since 2018. Known for his relatable humor and engaging style, Tim delivers performances that connect with audiences of all ages, making him a perfect fit for a family-friendly evening.

In 2024, Tim was recognized by the Dallas Observer as one of “10 DFW Comics to Keep on Your Radar,” and he is the winner of the 2021 Clean Comedy Challenge, receiving the Lea Ciastko Spirit of Comedy Award.

Before stepping into comedy, Tim spent over 30 years practicing law in Texas before transitioning into ministry. He served as Executive Pastor and later Campus Pastor at The Branch Church in Farmers Branch, retiring from full-time ministry in 2022.

Joining Tim is a talented crew of comedians who bring a mix of energy, personality, and humor to the stage, creating a well-rounded and entertaining experience for the entire audience.
Together, this lineup delivers a night of laughter that is both enjoyable and appropriate for families, while supporting the mission of CYT Dallas.

This ticket includes entry to the CYT Dallas Comedy Fundraiser featuring Tim Ketchersid. Guests will experience a welcoming community atmosphere, a high-quality comedy performance, and the opportunity to connect with others who support youth in the arts.
Seating is general admission. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show begins at 7:00 PM.
