Spring Production Details:
Rehearsals for Disney's Descendants: The Musical begins April 5, 2024, from 5:30 - 9:00 PM on Friday and 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturday and occurs weekly until Tech Week. 
  1. Tech will begin May 12, 20204, and run until the first scheduled performance.
  2. Performance Dates and Times 
    1. Friday, May 17th @ 7:00pm
    2. Saturday, May 18th @ 2:00pm
    3. Saturday, May 18th @ 7:00pm
    4. Sunday, May 19th @ 2:00p

Teaching Artist & Camp Counselors

CYT Dallas serves students from ages 4-18 in our theatrical classes, workshops & summer camps. In addition to our public classes in the fall, winter, and spring, CYT also offers summer camps throughout June and July.

We are always looking for gifted educators in all forms of acting, singing, dancing, improv, music, technical, and more.

Now seeking Summer Camp Staff!

Choreographer
We are looking for someone to be our choreographer for our summer camps and youth summer stock show (Alice in Wonderland Jr.) this year! In this position you will instruct campers in choreography for the show as well as help them learn new techniques and skills they can continue to use after camp has ended. Challenge your campers to go further than they think they can while still maintaining a positive environment. 

Camp Craft Counselor
Guide campers in creating crafts that go along with camp themes and can be used in the final showcase. Help campers explore their creativity and create a positive and uplifting environment. We are also hiring a crafts and props designer for our Youth Summer Stock, Alice in Wonderland, Jr. Collaborate with the Director to create a vision for the props and costume accessories for the show.

Artistic Teams

CYT Dallas proudly produces 3 fully-staged musicals each year, with outstanding lighting, sound, sets, and costumes.  Cast sizes generally range from 35-40 students, all between the ages of 8 and 18.  CYT shows are a unique opportunity to work with up-and-coming talent in a fun and relaxed setting while teaching them the importance of having a professional work ethic.  These shows become magic with the help of directors, musical directors, and choreographers who are creative and can communicate that creativity in a productive and positive way.

Orchestra and Band Members

Though many shows now have high-quality instrumental tracks, there are still plenty of opportunities for local musicians in the community to utilize their talents for the stage.  From pianists to percussionists, the magic of a live orchestra breathes life and energy into our shows and into the performers.

Internships

CYT has endless opportunities for internships of all kinds.  Stage direction, music, choreography, costume design, set building, graphic design, administration, and more!  Working with CYT is a great way to improve your skills, grow your knowledge, and gain experience working in all aspects of theater and business.  Internships happen in our local CYT class and show facilities.
