Are the kids supervised?
We have plenty of adult supervision. We have 2 camp directors and 2 additional adult counselors.
What are the accommodations?
Campers stay in separate cabins/lodges, girls with girls and guys with guys. Campers will sleep on bunkbeds. There is no bedding provided, so please bring your own sheets!
What if my child has food allergies?
Please email cassie@cytdallas.org with any allergies.
What ages are allowed to attend teen retreat?
High school aged students are allowed to attend teen retreat (those who have just graduated freshman year or just graduated senior year).
Do students get to have a cell phone?
Camp is all about unplugging, so, you guessed it, students will need to turn their phones in during camp. If you would like your students to leave their phones at home, that’s awesome! When you drop your child off for camp you will be given the camp director cell phone numbers for emergency contact.
Are students allowed to leave camp?
No, however, with prior permission for extreme circumstances, campers may be allowed to leave with a parent for a short period of time. This needs to be approved by the Camp Director. You can email cassie@cytdallas.org with any questions.
